With a very humble entry for the unassuming hero, the movie sweeps you off your feet in the very first scene, keeps you up in the air and never lets you down till the end. Scene after scene, there is suspense. A little bit of relaxation once in a while and that means you better gear up to sit at the edge of the seat for a nail biting scene soon! The screenplay is just mind-blowing and keeps you wondering and guessing and hoping all together at all times!
The movie seems long in the first half though, owing to the depth of its content and the time it takes for the audience to keep up with the pace.
Your much deserved interval block, especially leaves you panting for breathe at the speed with which the movie carries you along and all the assimilation you are having to do.
The heavy content is well complemented by the mostly simple song sequences shot at astounding locations. (Kudos to the location team!) This is probably apart from 'Aga naga' which displays Jeeva's style best alongside other style statements in the industry, with a few of them shaking their legs to the sort-of Hip-hop number.
With awesome performance from Jeeva, complemented by a decent support from Karthika, "Ko" rocks your very core with the power packed performance of 'Vasanthan'. Be it the goosebumps or making you shiver with reality, he has it at bull's eye! A sweet and neatly sketched role, Piaa does her part well and without a hassle.
Among the actors, Jeeva deserves a special mention for his evolution as an actor and what he has become today with "Ko". 'Ashwin' scores undoubtedly with his subtle gestures and body language, not to mention the articulate eyes!
The camera work is good and has captured the shots without much ado in just the right ways at just the right instances, and helps the crew take you into the story without having to strain your eyes.
The art direction needs special accolades for it's inseparable role in parts of the movie, apart from the cinematography and photography.
The multi-starrer is a welcome sign for the industry, with one too many stars coming up in the same period, and I wish future multi-starrers handle their stars with as much ease and importance as this one does.
Ko... What the movie's name stands for is still a mystery, may be because I missed the titles, but whatever the name stands for, the movie does stand for a lot of things.
Or should I say....a lot of us.............??

Watch the movie and You tell me.
